I am pleased to announce that Sam in Year 5 (who was nominated by school earlier this year) was awarded the Highly Commended Award at the "High Sheriff of Lancashire's Young Citizen Award 2018".

Sam won the award for all of his ongoing charity work and for the support he has shown the emergency services over the past year following some horrific events such as the terrorist attack in Manchester and the Grenfell Tower fire.

Well done Sam for all your hard work and selfless acts.

Sam: Citizen of the Year Award

On the 21st March 2018, it was World Down Syndrome Awareness Day. The staff and pupils wore odd socks for school that day, bringing in £1 for the World Down Syndrome Charity. Here I am, with Aaron from Reception Class, rockin' our odd socks!

A huge well done to Elliott in Year 4 who was awarded with one of my Headteacher Stickers for some super writing he did.
