Year 5 at The Wyre and Fylde Dance Festival - November 20th 2018

Year 5 took part in the Wyre and Fylde Dance Festival which had a theme of "Through the Decades". We chose the 70's and danced to a megamix of all the 70's classic disco tracks with a modern twist. Their dance incorporated popping and locking sequences alongside some classic disco moves such as the grapevine. It was so lovely to see the children having such a good time and doing something that is quite possible for some a once in a lifetime event - dancing on the stage at The Winter Gardens. A huge thank you to all staff involved, Brittany Jackson from Dancetc and to you, the parents, for your support in helping to make/supply the costumes, hair pieces, shoes and glitter! A huge well done to the children for their performance but actually for their composure, patience and conduct on what turned out to be a very long day with lots of waiting around! They were ALL amazing! We are very proud. Pictures to follow. Some videos and photos will also be shared on Class Dojo.
