Fundraising

Katy and Eleanor in Year 6, along with other pupils, have kindly been trying very hard to raise money for Cancer Research UK. They held Lytham's Got Talent last week where the teachers and pupils made kind donations to the cause. Fun was had and lots of money was raised. Well done to the girls for all their hard work.

A lovely morning was had by all and, as a special thank you, those children who joined us on the walk are permitted to wear their own clothes on MONDAY 26th JUNE.

Sam's Charity Work

Well it seems that we have our very own little Charity Worker here at Lytham CE. Some of you may know about the fundraising Sam has been doing to raise money to help school. He recently took some doughnuts along to the police station to thank them for all their hard work in our area and in the recent sad events that our country has experienced. As a treat, Sam was given a ride in a police car and got to chat to some of the officers. This has spurred him on again to raise more money but this time for the fire fighters; following on from the tragic event in London. We are very proud of Sam and all his selfless deeds.

Thank you for everything you do - each and every day.

Our NEW Willow Cross

Today, Year 3 were visited by Alan and Stuart from Urban Organics who helped us to design and create a living willow-cross! It was so much fun and we are very proud of it. We are going to take very good care of it as it is very special to us and we love that we can see it every time we look out of our classroom windows. Thank you so much Alan and Stuart and to the parents who joined in and helped us!
